Fogo De Chao Experience

RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT - MEAT, MEAT, and MORE MEAT! Do I have your attention yet? The Fogo experience is like none other and one that should be shared with others looking for some guidance. Why Guidance? You may be getting into something you're not prepared for, something your taste buds may thank you for or maybe not depending on the person.

The explosion of flavors you're about to encounter could be a little much and my fiance and I realized that there is actually options to approaching this meat intake extravaganza. One way is to simply accept the slice the specialist is about to give you from a freshly cooked piece of heaven. That's just fine, but another great option we found was to wait for a carving specialist that has already made a few cuts to his meat. Reason being, is that you'll actually get to taste your heaven and not just the amount of seasoning that they use to cook and prepare their delicacy.

The Beef Ancho(rib eye) was by far one of the best cuts of beef we have ever tasted and recommend trying first so that your taste buds are warmed up. Another excellent selection was the house special, Picanha(top sirloin) and ask for a cut from the medium rare - medium for best results. Although I am a fan of lamb, I personally thought that it was over cooked.

Be prepared to enjoy one of the best salad bars in the Metro! Pick from two prepared salad choices, two selections of prosciutto & cheese combinations, several veggie varieties and three pasta dishes. One of our recommendations is the potato salad and a must have if you plan on visiting for the first time.

Finally, the Fogo experience truly is like none other and the concept of a green and red coaster telling the carving specialist whether or not you would like some more goodness is a cleaver idea. For anyone who wants to see what it's like to eat at an all inclusive resort or cruise liner, this is the place to visit. The staff is at all times ready to serve you, see to it that your table is clean at all times, ensure your side dishes are fresh and that you're choice of meat is near your table and readily available if needed. Yes Fogo is on the expensive side, but never-the-less a place to try at least once in your life.
